AuCrew (operated by Bellona Beef Pty Ltd, ABN 69 215 394 686) is committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals who interact with our services. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. Information We Collect

From Candidates (Workers)

• Full name, contact details (email, phone, WhatsApp)
• Nationality, country of residence, visa status and work entitlement
• Trade qualifications, work history and employment references
• Assessment responses, scores and behavioural profiling data
• Identity documents including passport copies and visa grants
• Safety certifications and training records

From Clients (Employers)

• Company name, contact name, phone number and email address
• Site location, trade or skill categories required, number of workers needed and preferred start date
• Additional requirements or comments submitted through the enquiry form

Client enquiries submitted through the AuCrew website are received by email and handled by AuCrew staff.

From Agents

• Name, country, contact details and network description

3. How We Use Your Information

• To assess candidate suitability for placement opportunities
• To match candidates to client requirements
• To manage placements, payroll and compliance obligations
• To communicate with candidates, clients and agents about their enquiries
• To respond to worker enquiries and send candidate profiles to clients who have submitted a Request Workers enquiry
• To coordinate candidate introductions and placement discussions between clients and suitable candidates
• To fulfil obligations under the Fair Work Act 2009 and relevant labour hire legislation
• To comply with immigration and visa compliance requirements

Client contact details provided through the Request Workers form are used to respond to enquiries, send candidate profiles and coordinate placement discussions. Client requirements — including trade categories, headcount, site location and start date — may be shared with matched candidates as part of the placement process.

We do not share candidate information with employers without the candidate's explicit written consent. We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Consent to Collection of Identity Documents

The collection of passport copies, visa documents and trade certificates constitutes collection of sensitive identity information. By submitting these documents to AuCrew you provide explicit consent to their collection and use for the purposes described in this policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us at admin@aucrew.au.

5. Data Storage and Security

All personal information is stored on secure, access-controlled systems. Access is limited to AuCrew staff who require the information to perform their role. We use industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction of personal information.

AuCrew uses basic technical measures on its website forms — including passive bot-detection — to help protect against automated or unsolicited submissions. No personal data is transmitted to third parties as part of these measures.

6. Data Retention

Personal information is retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of last contact, or for the duration of an active placement plus 12 months, whichever is longer. After this period, data is securely deleted. You may request early deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your information
• Make a complaint about how we have handled your information
